There are a few steps to try and troubleshoot the issue:
- Restart the laptop. Unplug the charger, shut down, wait a few seconds, and then turn the laptop back on.
- Reinsert the SD card. Take the card out, wiggle it around while it’s out, and then re-insert it into the laptop.
- Check the card type. Verify the type of card being used.
- Check the card reader. Make sure that the card reader is functional and non-corrupted.
- Check the laptop’s system. Verify that the system is still up-to-date and not corrupt.
