Why is there no audio on my Smart TV when using headphones?

If your Smart TV is not producing audio, we suggest the following steps:


  1. Check that the headphones are firmly connected to the audio port of your Smart TV.
  2. Ensure that the volume on your Smart TV is turned up.
  3. If using an external device (for example, a streaming device or Blu-ray player) connected to your TV, check that it is connected properly and that the volume is turned up.
  4. Try headphones on another device to confirm that the headphones are working properly.
  5. Reset your Smart TV by unplugging the power and plugging it back in.
