- Check the external device’s audio/video cables
Make sure all the audio/video cable connections are firmly made between the device and the TV. Be especially mindful of the HDMI cable connection.
- Try a different HDMI port on the TV
If your external device is still not being detected, switch the HDMI cable to another port on the TV and test again.
- Check the TV’s Input settings
Access the TV’s input settings and make sure it is set to the correct port where the external device is connected.
- Check external device power source
Ensure that the external device is powered on and that its power cable is firmly plugged in.
