Why is my Smart TV not connecting to my home network?

First, check to make sure your Smart TV is connected to your Internet-enabled router via an Ethernet cable, or make sure the Wi-Fi is enabled.


  1. Check the router and modem connections are secure.
  2. Reboot your router and modem, and then your Smart TV.
  3. Verify the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong where your Smart TV is located.
  4. Ensure that the network name and security key are entered correctly on your Smart TV.
  5. If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connections, try connecting your Smart TV to just one of the two.
  6. Disable any MAC Address filtering or parental controls on your router.
