Why is my router not connecting to the Internet?

Here is a list of things you can try:

  1. Check that the router is correctly plugged into your modem and is also turned on.

  2. Check that the modem is also turned on and that the modem is connected to your computer.

  3. Check that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has given you the right settings to connect your router to the Internet.

  4. If you are using a wireless router, check that the wireless settings are correct. Ensure that your computer is connected to the correct wireless network and that your wireless password is correct.

  5. If you are having trouble connecting to a wireless router, try to reset your router by pressing the reset button on the back of the router.

  6. Ensure that any firewalls on your computer are configured correctly.

  7. Check for any software that may be interfering with your connection, such as security, antivirus, and network monitoring software.
