First, check the power cord of the printer is securely connected to the wall and to the back of the printer.
Then, open the scanner lid and look for any pieces of paper or objects obstructing the scanner path.
Next, check the documents, image or sheet for any dirt or smudges that could interfere with the scanner sensor.
Finally, clean the scanner bulb and rollers with a soft cloth or cotton swab and a non-abrasive glass or window cleaning solution.
