Why is my printer producing streaked prints?

1. Check the paper tray to ensure that all pieces of paper are properly seated and are all facing the same direction
2. Clean the paper feed rollers to ensure the paper is feeding accordingly
3. Inspect the inside of the printer for paper jam or obstruction
4. Check the printer settings and make sure that the printer is the default printer
5. Check the ink cartridges to ensure that they are not low on ink or dried out
6. For a laser printer, check to see if the toner cartridge needs replacement
