Why is my printer producing smudged prints after replacing the ink cartridge?

1. Check all cables and connections and ensure they are installed correctly.
2. Make sure that the correct printable side of the paper is being used. Most papers are marked on the back side.
3. Clean the printer according to the instructions in the owner’s manual.
4. Check the printer settings and make sure they are suitable for your paper type.
5. Perform a nozzle check to identify blocked or congested nozzles.
6. Check the ink level and make sure it is not low.
