Why is my printer only printing black and white when it is supposed to print in color?

1. Check if the printer is connected and powered up.

2. Check that the correct printer is selected on the computer.

3. Review any settings or controls on the printer – ensure settings are correct and that a colour cartridge is installed.

4. Check the cartridges status – retry after occasional printhead cleanings and check that the cartridges are not empty.

5. Check the colour settings, to see if the printer is configured to print in greyscale or black and white. Examine the software printer settings, as well as check within the printer's own settings menu.

6. Check if any other applications are installed, which may clash with the printer, and uninstall them if necessary.

7. Try to turn off the printer and restart the computer, then re-install the printer driver.
