1. Check the power leads and cables to ensure they are securely plugged into power outlet and back of printer.
2. Reboot the printer and Mac computer.
3. Check if the printer is turned on and is showing its ready status.
4. Check System Preferences on the Mac to ensure the printer has been added.
5. Install the latest printer software.
6. Check the output log to determine if the printer is able to communicate with the Mac.
7. Restart the Mac and try to print again.
