- Ensure the printer is compatible with the software or device you are scanning from.
- Make sure the resolution settings are set correctly in the printer preferences.
- In case it is not possible to change the resolution, try to optimize the settings for the specific type of document you are scanning.
- Check the connection and the USB (or other) cable is stable and not loose.
- Try to restart the printer and/or unplug and plug in the power supply.
