1. Check the printer’s power cord and connections to make sure it is properly powered on and connected to your computer.
If the connection is properly established, go to the next step.
2. See if the printer has enough toner or ink.
3. Test the printer by printing out a test page.
If the page prints, go to the next step.
4. Make sure your computer is connected to the same network as the printer.
If the network settings are correct, go to the next step
5. Make sure that the correct printer is selected in your printing options.
If the correct printer is selected, go to the next step
6. Check the drivers for the printer and make sure they are up to date.
If the drivers are up to date, go to the next step
7. Restart the printer and the computer and try to print again.
