1. Check the printer is on and connected to the network or computer.
2. Make sure the Free Print software is updated on your Mac.
3. Restart the Mac and the printer.
4. Make sure cables are tightly connected and cables are not frayed or broken.
5. Check and see if the printer is compatible with the version of the Mac you are using.
6. Test printer connection by printing a test page or document.
