- Check your printer connection. Make sure your printer is on, is connected to your Chromebook, and has enough paper and ink supplies.
- If you’re using Wi-Fi, check that your Chromebook is connected to the same Wi-Fi connection as your printer.
- If your printer is connected to your Chromebook with a USB cable, make sure it’s securely plugged in.
- Check if the latest version of Chrome OS is installed. If not, install it.
- Click the Launcher icon on the Chrome OS shelf and open the Settings page.
- Select the System tab.
- Click About Chrome OS and then Check for and apply updates.
- Check your app settings.
- Go to chrome://settings/content/printing.
- make sure that 'Ask before printing' and 'Background printing' are both enabled.
