Why is my printer not printing in the correct orientation?

< 1 min read

Here is a list of things to check when a printer isn’t printing in the correct orientation.

  1. Check all cable connections: Verify that all the cables, such as the power cable and the USB cable, are securely inserted to the printer and connected to the power outlet and the computer.
  2. Take a look at the print setting: Be sure to check the print setting in the software you’re using to print. Look for the option to set Orientation (Portrait or Landscape) and then make sure it is correctly selected.
  3. Review the printer settings: Check the printer’s own settings to ensure Orientation settings are correctly made.
  4. Reinstall the printer driver: Try reinstalling the printer driver software. This will reset the settings and help to resolve any conflicts in the installed driver.
