Check if the printer has power

  1. Is the power cable securely connected to the printer and wall outlet?
  2. Has the wall outlet been reset? (by turning off & on)
  3. Is the printer turned on?
  4. Are any indicator lights turned off, flashing, or on and unresponsive?

Check if the printer is connected to the network
  1. Are all the network cables securely connected?
  2. Is the printer connected to the same network as the computer?
  3. Has the router been reset? (by turning off & on)
  4. Are any indicator lights turned off, flashing, or on and unresponsive?
