Why is my PowerPoint presentation not playing a linked sound effect in a specific slide?

1. Check to make sure your sound file is in the correct format for PowerPoint.

2. Ensure that the sound file is located in the same folder as the presentation.

3. Make sure that any slide transition, animation or video file has already had the sound effect applied.

4. Check your speaker settings.

5. Re-insert the sound file.
