Check the version of the presentation

1. Make sure the presentation was created using a compatible version of PowerPoint.
2. Confirm the presentation is not corrupted or damaged by attempting to open it in a different version of PowerPoint.
3. Ensure the office applications (e.g. PowerPoint) are up to date.
4. Check that the presentation was saved in a supported file format (e.g. .ppt, .pptx, .ppsx);
5. Temporarily turn off any anti-virus software as it might be blocking the presentation from opening.
