Why is my PowerPoint presentation not displaying the correct background color on some slides?

  1. Check the background color on each slide. Slide backgrounds can be changed by clicking Format Background on the Design tab.

    To find the Design tab, go to the View tab and select Slide Master.

  2. Check the background color in the slide master. Click the Slide Master tab and check that the background color is set correctly for the slide master.

    To find the Slide Master tab, go to the View tab and select Slide Master.

  3. Check the slideshow settings. Go to Slideshow tab and check that the background color is set correctly.
