Things to try if your phone’s sound is not working:
- Check that the mute switch on the side of your device is off.
 - Make sure that your ringer volume is high enough. If it is, you should hear a sound when you adjust the ringer with buttons or the Control Center.
 - Check to see if Do Not Disturb is enabled. If it is, sounds won’t play when notifications come in.
 - Check to see if the sound isn’t muted in your media app. You can easily check this in the Settings app.
 - Restart your device to see if the sound starts working.
 - Check to see if Bluetooth is on. If Bluetooth is on, your device might be sending audio to a Bluetooth accessory instead of the speaker.
 - If you have headphones plugged in, check to see if your device is set to play sound through them.
