Why is my mobile device’s screen showing a green or purple tint?

  1. Check Rotation Lock
  2. Check you device is in portrait orientation by swiping down from the top of the screen to view the control panel. Check ‘Rotation Lock’ to see if it is enabled. If so, disable it and check to see if you will notice a change.
  3. Check Night Shift
  4. Navigate to Settings –> Display & Brightness –> Night Shift. Ensure the toggle for ‘Schedule’ has been disabled or set to ‘Manual’ and select ‘Turn For Now’.
  5. Check Display Color Balance
  6. Open the Control Panel then select the ‘Display Color Balance’. Ensure the sliders are set to the center.
