< 1 min read

  1. Check the audio device settings:
Make sure that your microphone, headset, or speakers are correctly configured in your device’s sound settings for use with a Teams meeting.

  2. Check the microphone setting in Teams:
Within Teams, go to Settings > Devices > select your microphone and make sure that it is set to the correct level.

  3. Check the audio and microphone tests in Teams:
Under your devices list in Settings, you can click on Audio Devices and run a test to make sure your microphone is correctly configured with Teams.

  4. Check the teams volume settings in your taskbar:
In the bottom left of your computer, if there is a speaker icon, right-click, and select the Open Settings option to adjust volume levels.

  5. Check the device manufacturer settings:
If you have an external microphone, please check the manufacturer’s documentation for any additional configuration needed.
