1. Ensure your webcam is connected
2. Ensure your laptop is connected to the internet
3. Check your web cameras’s settings and make sure it has access to the video conferencing program
4. If the web camera was working prior to the software update, then roll back the software update
5. Uninstall and re-install the video conferencing program
6. Check the laptop’s power settings and disable it sleep and hibernation settings
7. Restore all of the laptop’s settings to the defaults
8. If none of the above steps works, then contact technical support or get a new webcam or laptop
