- Check the Privacy Settings: Ensure that the privacy settings in the Camera Settings on your laptop are set to allow access.
Some laptops have physical switches or key combinations to disable the camera. Double check to make sure this isn’t enabled.
- Check the Webcam Plug-in: Make sure the webcam has been properly plugged into the device and the correct device has been selected in the device manager.
- Update your Camera Drivers: Check for available updates from the camera provider’s website. Some cameras require an update to be downloaded.
- Restart your Device: Try restarting the device after the camera has been plugged in or the drivers updated.
