Why is my laptop’s sound distorted or scratchy?

1. Check all the audio connections once.
2. Verify all of your settings to ensure they are correct (levels, volume, etc.).
3. Try different audio programs on your computer.
4. Run a virus scan to make sure there’s no malicious software installed on your computer.
5. Update all of your laptop’s drivers to the latest version.
6. Check to see if the speakers have the latest firmware version.
7. Make sure the laptop is not overheating.
8. Make sure that the laptop is not plugged into a power source with an unstable power supply.
