Why is my laptop’s fan producing a clicking or tapping noise?

1. Check the fan blade – Make sure the fan blades are not bent or broken and that the fan is spinning freely
2. Check the fan housing – Make sure the fan housing has not been damaged in any way
3. Check the fan wiring – Inspect the fan wiring for any signs of corrosion or damage
