- Check the laptop power supply and confirm it is on and appropriate plugged in.
- Check the fan blades for obstruction or build-up, to make sure there is nothing clogging the fan blade.
- Verify the fan power is connected properly.
- Check the settings of the Power Options within the laptop.
- If all above steps are completed and the fan continues to not run, then examine the fan control connection.
- If all of these steps fail, you may need to replace the fan.
