Why is my laptop’s fan making grinding noises?

< 1 min read

  1. Check the air vents
It’s important to make sure the laptop is getting enough air flow and not generating too much heat. Check the air vents for any blockage and make sure they are open and free from dust, lint, and debris.
  2. Change the fan settings
If the fan is running constantly or too loud, adjust the fan speed settings in the device BIOS.
  3. Replace the fan
If the fan isn’t spinning properly, it may need to be replaced. To do this, you may need to contact a qualified technician or an authorized service provider.
