Check if any programs are running in the background:
- Open your task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
- Go to the Processes tab and check which programs are running in the background.
- Sometimes certain unwanted programs can cause unwanted power usage, causing quicker battery drainage.
Remove unnecessary programs:
- Go to your programs list in the Start Menu.
- Uninstall the programs that you don’t use.
- Uninstalling the programs can save power if it is not used.
Turn off or reduce auto start programs:
- Go to the task manager.
- Go to the Startup tab and view which programs automatically run on startup.
- Disable any programs not in use, or reduce the startup impact of programs.
