If your laptop screen remains black after you power on your laptop, try the following steps:
- Check the power supply
Ensure your laptop is properly charged by connecting it to an external power source. After its charged, try powering up the laptop again. - Check the display
If the laptop powers on, but you cannot see the display, you may have a faulty or loose connection between the laptop and the display. Try connecting the laptop to an external monitor to check whether the issue is that the display panel of your laptop is either faulty or not working. - Check other details
After you have checked the above two steps, it may still be possible that the laptop's display panel is working but due to a fault in the display settings the display is not visible. To check this, press the FN key and one of the Function keys (F1 – F12) that is labeled as monitor or display, or look out for a display icon on the same set of Function keys.
