- Check the power supply. Make sure the power cable connected to your laptop and plug socket is firmly attached and that the laptop is receiving power.
- Try a different power socket. If the power cable is firmly attached, unplug and try a different power socket.
- Check laptop components. Inspect the laptop components that are visible to check that they are not damaged or loose.
- Disconnect peripherals. If you have any non-essential peripherals connected to the laptop, disconnect them to see if that solves the problem.
- Try a power reset. Power reset your laptop by powering off and then unplug the power source for at least 60 seconds.
