1. Check if the laptop is connected to a charger.
2. Check to make sure the power cord and adapter are securely connected to the laptop.
3. Test the power cord and adapter by using them with another laptop.
4. Reset or shut down the laptop.
5. Remove any external devices connected to the laptop, such as external monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc.
6. Try pressing the power button for a few seconds to force power on/off.
7. Remove and reinstall the laptop’s battery.
8. Perform system diagnostics, reboot and/or reset the laptop.
9. Update the laptop’s power management software.
10. If the laptop is still not responding, take it to a certified technician or contact customer support.
