Why is my laptop not recognizing my USB flash drive after formatting it?

1. Ensure your USB flash drive is supported by your laptop.
2. Check the USB port itself to ensure there is no physical damage.
3. Enter BIOS and check that the USB ports are enabled.
4. Verify that the USB drive is formatted in your laptops compatible file system.
5. Update the OS in your laptop.
6. Reinstall the USB drivers cleaing the old ones.
