Why is my laptop not displaying the correct time and date?

Check if the battery on your motherboard has power. If it doesn't, replace it with a new battery.
Verify if the time zone is set to your current location.
Check if the date and time were manually configured.
Bios error may be causing the issue, restart the system and check if that makes a difference.
If the laptop is up to date with all the Windows updates, run a Windows system restore.
