Why is my laptop not connecting to a specific Wi-Fi network?

< 1 min read

  1. Check to make sure the Wi-Fi network is available in your current location.
  2. Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi network name and password.
  3. Turn off your laptop’s Wi-Fi, wait for a few seconds and turn it back on.
  4. If you are still not able to connect to the Wi-Fi, try restarting your laptop.
  5. If you are still not able to connect to the Wi-Fi, try moving closer to the router.
  6. If all else fails, you may need to contact your internet service provider or the manufacturer of your router for further assistance.
