Why is my internet speed significantly slower than other users in my household?

  1. Check if you are connected to the correct wifi network.
  2. Check modem/router and make sure it is configured correctly and replace if necessary.
  3. Check if any devices or programs are consuming a lot of bandwidth.
  4. Check that devices are not too far away from the router, as a weak signal will reduce speed.
  5. Run an internet speed test to test the current speed.
  6. Reboot modem/router and try closing and opening browser.
