1. Check if the internet connection is on at the router or modem: See if the lights for the power and internet are turned on and visible.
2. Check the Ethernet cable is plugged in securely to the designated port: Make sure that the cable is securely plugged into the router, modem, and/or computer.
3. Verify that the computer or network is connected to the same WiFi network: Confirm that the computer is connected to the same network using the Wireless Network Connection utility.
4. Disable the Firewall: Temporarily disable the Firewall and see if the internet connection works.
5. Check your browser settings: Ensure the browser settings are set to the correct proxy configuration.
6. Restart the router or modem: Restart the device that connects to the internet, such as the router or modem.
7. Contact your internet service provider (ISP): Contact your ISP to see if there is an outage in your area.
