Why is my internet connection not working on my tablet or mobile device?

  1. Check if your mobile device/ tablet is connected to a cellular network or a wifi router.

    If it is connected to a cellular network, ensure your Mobile Data is turned on. If it is connected to a wifi router, check if the wifi router is properly configured.

  2. Try reconnecting your device to the wifi router or cellular network

    If your device still cannot connect to the router, check if any other device can connect to the same router and verify if both the username and password are correct. If you are using a cellular network, ensure you have strong network reception.

  3. Restart your device and router

    If the above steps don’t work it could help to restart both your device and router. Before doing so, check the router or modem is properly powered and connected to the wall outlet. From the power option on your device, choose restart or power off and switch it back

  4. Check the IP and DNS settings of your device

    If your device is connected to a router, you need to check the IP and DNS settings of the device. Make sure the DNS of your device matches the DNS provided by your router.
