1. Check and see if all cables are securely connected to your computer and modem.
2. Run a virus scan on your device to see if any malware is blocking your connection.
3. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in your laptop’s Taskbar and select your internet connection.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password, if prompted.
5. Restart the modem and the router, if necessary.
6. Reset the network adapter to the default settings.
7. Make sure that your antivirus/firewall software is not blocking your connection.
8. Install any new Windows updates that might be available.
9. Try connecting to another Wi-Fi network to see if the issue lies at your end or the router end.
