Why is my device not connecting to mobile data?


  1. Check the signal strength on the phone. If it is very weak or non-existent, move to an area with better signal strength or contact your service provider.
  2. Check the data connection settings on the device. Make sure that the setting is enabled to access the internet & that the correct APN setting is configured.
  3. Reset the network settings on the device. This resets all network settings to their default values & also removes any saved Wi-Fi networks.
  4. Power off your device & restart. This should reset the radio interface & help establish a fresh connection.
  5. Check for the latest software updates & install any available updates. This might resolve the problem by upgrading the device’s operating system.
  6. Do a factory reset on the device if all else fails. This completely erases all content & settings from the device & restores it to its original manufacturer settings.
