1. Check the USB port to ensure it is not defective.
To do this, unplug the USB device and try plugging it into different USB ports.
2. Check additional power connections, if possible.
If the USB device draws too much power, it will need to be connected directly to the power source.
3. Install or reinstall the device driver.
You may need to install or re-install the device driver.
4. Check the power management for the USB Root Hub.
Ensure the USB Root Hub is not turn off to save power.
