Check that all associated cords are securely connected to the back of the computer, monitor and any external devices.
Make sure that the computer, monitor, and external devices are powered on.
Check to see if the display settings are not set to a single display.
See if the display settings are set to the appropriate resolution for all devices.
Ensure that the latest video and monitor drivers are installed.
