Why is my computer not recognizing my SD card or USB flash drive?

1. Check if device is supported.
2. Verify that USB port is working.
3. Check if device is securely connected.
4. Check device driver is up to date.
5. Scan device for viruses.
6. Check disk for errors.
7. Reboot computer.
8. Reseat device and try a different USB port.
