Why is my computer not recognizing my network drives?

< 1 min read

Here’s a list of things to check if your computer isn’t recognizing any network drives:

  1. Check the network cable connection:  Make sure the cable is securely plugged into the back of your computer.
  2. Check your IP address:  Make sure you have a valid IP address.
  3. Restart your router:  Try resetting your router and see if the connection is recognized.
  4. Repair your network connection:  Try running a repair of your internet connection to re-establish a proper connection.
  5. Install the network drive:  If you haven't already done so, you may need to install the necessary network drive.
