Troubleshooting steps to resolve a non-recogniztion issue between a computer and Bluetooth device:
- Ensure the Bluetooth function on the computer is enabled and the device’s Bluetooth feature is operational
- Identify the type of connection method each device is using (examples: Classic Bluetooth, BLE, SSP, HID, etc.)
- If still not showing on the computer, check to see if the two devices use the same Bluetooth version
- If they don’t, try pairing the two devices with a different type of connection protocol
- Check if the device has been added to the computer’s list of paired Bluetooth devices
- If it is not listed, re-enter the pairing code on the computer and try reconnecting
- Ensure the Bluetooth on both devices is enabled and within the correct range of each other
- If any of the above do not work, uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver on the computer
