Why is my computer constantly crashing and displaying error messages?

  1. Check your computer’s temperature. If it is over-heating, reduce its exposure to direct sunlight and potential sources of heat. Check the vents and if necessary, open the computer to clean out internal dust buildup.
  2. If you have recently installed any new software or updated any existing software, then corrupted files might be the cause. Uninstall the new or recently updated software, and restart your computer.
  3. If you have multiple memory cards installed, then make sure they are as compatible as possible. If the cards are not compatible, then your computer may be experiencing hardware conflicts.
  4. Check the health of your hard drive and update the drivers if necessary. If the drives are unresponsive, then you should back up your data and reinstall them.
