1. Make sure your regional settings are configured correctly. Open the Windows Control Panel and select Region and Language. Select the Formats tab, then select the appropriate language for your region.

1. Check to ensure that your computer’s regional settings are set to the correct language for your region.
2. Modify your Excel settings to use the comma as the decimal separator.
3. Check your data to verify that a comma is correct and not a period.
4. Save your document.
