There are a few things to consider when troubleshooting your TV’s network connection:
- Check that the cable or DSL modem is connected to a working wall outlet, or ensure that the power is on and functioning. Make sure that the power cable is properly connected to the device.
- Make sure that your modem is connected to the router correctly. If the connection is loose or has any issues, it can affect your TV’s network connection.
- Ensure that Wi-Fi settings on the TV are correct and up to date. If they don’t match your router’s settings, your TV may not connect to the network.
- Make sure that the firmware on the TV is up to date. Outdated firmware can cause connection issues.
- Check the signal strength on the router; it should be at least 50%. If the signal is too low, move the router to a location closer to the TV.
- Remove any electronic devices near the TV that could be interfering with the signal. These include microwaves, cordless phones, baby monitors, and Bluetooth devices.
- Reset the modem and router by unplugging them for 30 seconds and then plugging them back in.
