Why does my phone keep restarting on its own?

  1. Check for any recently installed apps, especially if they have permission to run in the background

  2. Check to make sure your phone’s OS is up to date

  3. Verify that no overheating is occuring by feeling the back and sides of your phone, or by using a temperature app

  4. Check your battery health and if necessary, replace the battery

  5. Ensure you have enough free space on your device

  6. Run a factory reset if none of the above choices work
