Why does my laptop’s cursor disappear when in full-screen mode?

< 1 min read

It’s possible that your laptop’s cursor may disappear when in full-screen mode due to several possible settings. Here are some things you can try to re-enable the cursor:

  1. Check the settings of your laptop’s Touchpad or Pointing Device.
  2. If your laptop has a Fn key, check that it is not enabling or disabling the cursor.
  3. Go to the Mouse and Pointer Settings in the Control Panel and verify if the options are selected properly.
  4. Restart your laptop and ensure that all the related settings are adjusted properly.
  5. Verify the settings of your laptop’s display and video card.
